Operation Showers of Appreciation
Cannery Casino Resorts and Fox 5 have joined forces to provide a huge military baby shower for local expecting spouses.
The shower will be held on Saturday July 30, 2011 in Las Vegas for approxi-mately 100 new and expecting mothers who have deployed partners or are active-duty servicewomen.
All military branches of services are invited to participate.
The event will include gifts from the local community and flowers from expectant fathers.
Individuals or companies wishing to donate may drop off new baby items at any Cannery Casino between June 23-July 23, 2011.
The Alpha Xi Beta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa will have
